When the person inspecting the scaffold works for the firm that built it, questions get asked. An independent inspection protects everyone: the scaffolder, the contractor and the people working at height.
Under the Work at Height Regulations, scaffolds must be inspected by a competent person before first use and at least every 7 days. My reports give you an independent, qualified record that stands up to scrutiny from principal contractors, the HSE and insurers.
